Whew. This was a hard one.

I feel like there should be a slight head bob on that as well.
The whole sprite is super dynamic and fluid but I keep focusing directly on the head because it's so static by comparison.
It's not a big deal but it's a bit jarring.

Agreed. But it really does look great so far. It could also benefit from a "shifty eyes" animation, looking for enemies.

Figured out how to make gif animation in photoshop.


Took a week or so off of this project and came back to do the idle animation.

You added a little bit too much shorts flow in the idle animation. You also need to add a bit more of a tentacle flow in the idle animation.

Wow! Like Cyberguy though, I think you should add a head bob in the run animation.
