I haven't done any spriting in years, I'm having trouble getting him the right shape..

Very nice! I like your simple, flat shading but the eyes don't fit that well with the rest of the design. You might wanna keep em' simple without any anti-aliasing.

I wasn't done shading and coloring, I just needed some advice on the lineart ^u^

I don't see any issues with the lineart at this point. What is the intended shape you're aiming for exactly; you can just describe the look you're going for if that's not already what you wanted I guess?
It is definitely cute-em-up though.

design tip: make the mouth more like a w and less like a ω

the pointy mouth will simulate little fangs.
