I think you could make the 3rd NPC's head a bit bigger (the one with green head and thin neck).

Changed yellow shirt guy to have white mask thing and sheeted mole monster thing.

That tree has the best design on the sheet imo.
Or maybe its just awesome looking.

Good job so far, you may want to use less banding in the sprites though.
