The bottom of his vest should be coming to points like the original, the button seems a wee bit big as well, the rest seems to be a pretty nice representation of the DS version.
UV mapping is hard.
Texturing will be worse.
Bump map test.
I also now use SFM for model renders, rather than Blender. Since I prefer how much easier it is to render models there.
Made that one boss from Mario and Luigi 1. I didn't like how this turned out.
Mother 3 - Pigmask Tank.
Model was VERY high poly, with a whopping 18462 polygons, never got to texturing it.
Pretty neat stuff you got here! Loving the Undertale stuff. Plan to do anymore?
I always admire 3D modelers since I have yet to learn how to do it lol.
Made a Grand Dad SFM model from an overhaul of Mario's Smash 4 model. I haven't polished it.
If you want a DL, I might put it on the workshop soon, dunno.
I never thought that GrandDad could look so creepy (it is mainly his eyes). Anyways, it looks pretty good.
@Jaharl
Are the pupils too small or something? It's a pretty easy fix, honestly.
The face is also rigged by bones, rather than the common source vertex animation. So I could do some crazy facial expressions with it.
Yeah, I think it is the pupil size because when I edited the a bit to make it a bit bigger, They looked a lot less creepy.
It's been a while since I looked here TBH. If you still take requests, You can probably forget my last one if you still haven't done it. If there's any character I always was curious to see a 3D model of it was
Late 90's Mr. Driller, honestly.
...This particular design I always liked more for some reason.
...Also that Grand Dad looks terrifying and I love it.
Grand Dad's pupils are a bit on the small side but at the same time, it looks more bootleg-ish that way. But if you're going for accuracy then yeah, they could do with being bigger. Still, some fine work, a lot better than Grand Dad has any right to be for sure!
Never finished this, but eh. Looks decent without textures.
Honestly I'm fine with the small pupils. They make him look even more cheap and bootleggy.
