lol I can tell you right now the hardest part of that cosplay would be getting a baseball jersey that shade of blue.
But yes I can start on Junpei when I get home from work today. I did end up doing Yukari last night, so she'll probably be up later.
Heh, yeah, that's for sure... I've been looking around off and on since this game came out, so I'm well familiar with that fact. But cool! I look forward to seeing the rest of the cast as well! Really glad someone figured out how to rip Ultimax and step up to the plate on this.
I've got the guys on here to thank for their help, and especially Ploaj for making the whole process easier. Hopefully the tools he's made will help others with their own projects.
(Also small cosplay tip; if you get a plane white jersey and dye it, then go a shade lighter than your intended color. Jersey material is ment to absorb moisture, and you might end up with it darker than intended.)
These'll be in Sho's pack (that I'm currently working on), but I had to share it because I thought it was really cool. Apparently some of Sho's temporary sprites used during the debug process were left in with his animation packs. For comparison, here's a final sprite and the temp sprite.
I love seeing WIP from professional spriters like this.
Dudeeeeeeeeee I love the work you're doing
I tried to work seriously tonight, and ended up goofing off with pallets and made Himiko look pretty awesome with Rise's pallet.
Whoopse.
And Rise's done.
I'm taking a break for now, but as I said before, I will rip the packs for the returning characters. I will be doing full sets, since as I said before, I believe there were some adjustments in addition to the frames for new moves and the Shadows. Seems a bit silly to pick and choose when it's just easier to do the whole thing and be done with it. I'm also going to throw in a separate pack of battle effects that aren't already ripped (Tsukiyomi's and some of Junpei and Himiko's things), especially now that I have the .dds plug in for my Photoshop, so I'll be able to do a complete effects rip.
Shame I can't rip the final boss though; I think he's a full 3-D model, and I don't think my computer could handle that. I'll need to see if I can find where he is on the disc and find out for sure.
Either way, I'm breaking for awhile; either until I can get Margaret's files off the PS3 disc, or I finish updating other projects I have going on elsewhere, whichever comes first.
