Hey when these models get submitted, what's going to happen to the old ones?

The old ones will be replaced with my re-rips when they're ready. The models that were T-posed were manually done so there's obviously some potential flaws with that method, and with pre-rigged models it's better overall because you can put them in any pose you want easily (instead of only the pose they were ripped in).

If you want to keep the old models, download 'em now.

(EDIT: Well, I now know what that green section on the fake Mega Man's texture is for in Powered Up. But I don't remember seeing this being utilized in-game.)

YES! I really wanted Sigma's model from this game. RTB, once you get him ripped, let me know!
I'm pretty sure Mega Man? doesn't have a Sniper Joe outfit or whatever, as I checked up on all the unlockables a while back when I was trying to 100% the game. Could be some weird error that it's included?

i wonder if this works for items/stage files too.... would be interesting o.O

Of course, they're all stored in the same format. Textures are another thing, I'll need to find the byte that tells what texture and palette the polygon groups use so that stages won't be a nightmare to set up. Can't automate that process, though, since there's no file names to work off of, and PTEX images will need to be ripped using TiledGGD. Might just be faster to dump the textures using an emulator like Jpcsp.

(EDIT: I fixed the script since then, turns out it was ignoring polygon groups with more than a certain amount of triangle strips because it splits those into multiple sections, which is identified by another byte I skipped past earlier... Sheesh. I only noticed that after I tried importing Sting Chameleon's model and more than half of it was missing.)

So with Maverick Hunter X, it can be easily ripped with this method you've developed? That's quite simply amazing. I appreciate your work greatly and am glad you can help out in so many ways. Like I said the model I'm looking for is the basic Sigma, and possibly Vile, so I anxiously await them being ripped as soon a possible.

Yep. I'll be releasing the script and models (for convenience's sake) after I've ripped and uploaded all of the playable characters and bosses to The Models Resource, everything else will be free reign for anyone else to rip.

But yeah, I'm definitely working on getting Sigma's model uploaded.
