The VG Resource

I'm thinking of making a "CG resource" for blender/3ds max/cinema 4d etc. stuff, that is inspired by these sites, but clearly states that it is not affiliated. Is this ok?

My initial reaction is "go for it" but I am curious about exactly what you plan to do. Models Resource already provides objects that can be used in the programs you mentioned but I imagine this isn't what you're actually talking about so what's your plan?

I'm thinking about models and stuff that aren't specifically just from games. Also fully setup scenes

That certainly sounds different enough (and interesting, actually) so by all means, go ahead!
