EDIT: Okay. Now we have models. With UV and mesh name data.
Now we need texture and skeleton support, and then we can release these on TMR.
OH GOSH... You're really fast guys... If I were able to reverse engineer the models the way you do, I would tried to figure out how to rip some of those hard to rip models and even trying for myself the ripping of some nintendo 3DS models from the roms I already have saved on my SD cards... I tried the Xorpad Method, it makes things difficult, the RX-TOOLS method with no avail, I gotta try the CIA extracting data. due becuz CIA is decrypted, works with the 3DSExplorer and more importantly, No need for 3DS during process and even more, installing the CIAs on the SD card on CFW.
Dammit, I gotta learn much about C and Hex editing to understand any kind of file structure, compressions and encryptions.
At least, you managed to rip the mesh files with success, although still being not rigged. but just in less than 24 hours.
PS: My bad... I thought it was the Walrus boss from the first level of DKTF, The one who slides on the floor. However, it doesn't mean that I will not get it, once the reverse engineering finally succeeds, just I need to wait more until I see it available to download.

And @TGE, will this be a batch script, drag-and-drop or a simple Maxscript?
Drag and drop executable that outputs objs.
Oh god yes! I can sleep happily now knowing I don't have to go near 3DS Max.
So, um. Parax just got a job. The one guy I could rely on for Retro Studios format hacking aside from TGE will now be unavailable.
So the point of this message is: those pesky TXTR files. We gotta crack 'em. Those, and the SKEL files. I also tried to convert them using Texconv2, just to see if it could differ from computer to computer. No go for me either.. I would like to release the models on Models Resource, but they'll never get approved without textures and materials.

Could you upload one

Hey, you bet!
I'll upload one of each since I don't know which format you want.
The skel files aren't complicated.. there's just no way to link them to the models afaik.

Might I suggest asking RTB? He knows, I think. He linked Smash U's VBN files to the NUD's.
maybe TGE means that the skel files has no name inside it to tell which skel set goes with which model...? idk
Finding time!
I looked through the SKEL files in HxD, and I believe I may have found Lord Fredrik's rig file. It has bone names in it, such as Horn, Mustache, Helmet, at the like. If anyone wants to look at it, be my guest. I will also look through MTRL files.

Is this thread dead in the water now?
I'm guessing yes. It's been a little while.
Gotta keep our heads up though!
Getting the textures converted would be considered a priority at the moment.
Yes, exactly. TGE.
I sent a texture file to ThatTrueStruggle, who said he'd check them out. I haven't heard from him though.
even after 4 days... I was really surprised you managed to get so far into the ripping of DKTF models... I am still waiting for the seal boss model that I saw on stage 1 (I think it's called "Big top bob", I don't have the game just yet, neither I have a Wii U
)
it seems like we'll add another game into the models resource list very soon.

Well, the seal boss, Pompy, has his textured used in Smash Wii U's trophy. I have the textures, but not the original t-posed model.
I just wan't Freddy's rig and textures.
