When people use text acronyms in real life
To be fair, if its an organization, its a pain to remember "federal bureau of tobacco alcohol and firearms" vs ATF.
I think they were more referring to things like lol or lmao. But people actually saying them as words. I do it for funsies sometimes, but I don't actually speak that way.
"Lol" is also a dutch word for "fun", which is why I say it sometimes.
Saying "lmao" is just silly. It makes you sound like a French cat. Or "chat". "Le mao~"

When I was small I saw my brothers IMing one of his friends once and they were using "lol". I was like "oh does your friend know Dutch?" Tongue
lmao is only ok if it's AYYY LMAO

also using :v emote is dumb
Lenny Face will be terrifying if people start actually saying it.
When everybody keeps saying darude sandstorm when somebody doesn't know what music their listening to on YouTube.
it's irritating when people start doing random RPs in a group chat.
When neighbors or driveby people are blasting their music so loud that it rattles all the houses within radius of the source.  I want to rattle their heads for that nonsense, especially when I want to take a nap, but simply can't because of them.
When someone or more in a talking group decides to raise the voice in a very loud level suddenly so everyone in the area can listen.

This happens at midnight for me sometimes. Its not even peoples' houses. There's just some really stupid car thieves.
When someone addresses a group of people as "y'all," especially in a text-based chat. I can't stand it for some reason.

I don't mind it if they're from the south or imitating Foghorn Leghorn or something, though.
When people say the word "dated" when describing the age of something, Not the past tense of Date or the historical record found through carbon dating. For example

"The kitchen's overall design is just so DAYYYTEEEDDDDDD!!!!! It needs to be updated to a more clean and modern design that can be used to entertain guests."

Sometimes DIY/home improvement shows are on... But that word, how they make it sound... It just makes my brain cringe

If it's me that brought this about, just letting you know I'm from Texas.
