Full Version: Ripping from .WAD files?

The Emperor's New Groove stores its level data in .WAD files. I didn't find this out by opening the .WAD files to see what's inside them, I found out by noticing that the number and naming of wad files matches the levels of the game. Here's what the inside of the game's "wads" folder looks like.

I've searched the internet and found numerous supposed .WAD file converters but I've gotten none of them to work for these files. For example, I've tried converters made for .WAD files for the game Doom, but I guess those .WAD files are different since these .WADs won't work with the Doom .WAD converters.

Can anyone give me advice? Here's a link to one of the wads. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-xsrR_...sp=sharing
If it's for play station, you can grab PSound, it can read the sounds from a Play Station WAD File.

Although it would be better to have a bms script that extracts these files and then import into PSound. As PSound allows you to take those files and export them as WAVsSmile. I'll see if I can get a script working

Here's all the sound effects I got from the WAD files. I'll upload them to the Sounds Resource once I organize them better. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-xsrR_...sp=sharing

SLADE is an excellent Doom Wad editor if you want to check it out, I'm pretty sure it should work on something like that too.
