But I was kind of hoping to find some volunteer spriters here. I don't mind spriting, but I don't think I could make all the monsters myself. Plus, it might be a good chance to advertise yourselves out there. Smile
Yeah, but I lack the time or the patience at the moment.
My skills also aren't too great, either.
And other stuff

Maybe in another month or so.
I can relate to being over-burdened, trust me.
In a way, I do it to myself, but I also have my ways of balancing stuff out so I never become overwhelmed.
Feedback I can easily do, that's about it for the time being.
But, really, For this, I probably wouldn't be a particularly valuable asset.
Sad

I got a new sprite, but I'm not sure I'm too proud of this one. It's a thistle monster. I was trying to do something different than just animal-based monsters.

I like it a lot, but it's kind of confusing. Is that dark part next to its eye a mouth?
Yeah, it's supposed to be. I'll admit it does look kind of urgly, though

No, it looks cute! It's just a little unrefined.
I'm surprised someone replied so late. However, I am working on a new sprite, though work on it's been slow because of my splints. Standing for long periods of time hurts my legs, and sitting down is usually no better. But still, I hope to have the sprite done soon.

Edit: Oh, how could I refine it?
...And here is that sprite.

On the left is my first version of the sprite, but two things went through my mind. 1: "You realize it's metal, right bonehead?" and 2: The red looks jarring and gaudy. So I changed the red to blue and tried to smooth out the shading. ...Unless the first one looks better.
That's looking pretty good. I definitely prefer the one on the right, props for spotting issues and making changes.

One of the main things worth noting is that your colors are very, very saturated. I'd suggest toning those down a tad, especially the shades. Everything seems way too bright currently. Your line art is also a bit jaggy in places.

You definitely seem to be improving though. Keep it up!
