Just to make sure, the ones that end with Tex1 only have textures right? Because i cant import those into max without running into errors.
You also need to download the update files to get most of the game's models.
Thanks, you just saved me hours of losing my mind!
anyone know were to find the rainbow bridge to ganons castle model in the oot3d files?
Ok finnaly i found the sheikah slate, it's named "Item_Conductor or Item_ConductorDemo"
The "Item_ConductorDemo" it's high res, instead, "Item_Conductor" it's low res.
Hope it helps ^^
I made a render
Did somebody know how to put sbfres's textures on model witch blender ?

If any of you rip and submit BotW models to the resource, let me know so I can add both the submission and your name to the OP. Thank you!
I have 44 models pending at time of writing. For characters I have Link, Zelda, Urbosa, Revali, Mipha, Daruk, Wolf Link, Bludo(Goron chief), Vagrant King. I also have the stag and donkey pending, and have been working through the armors for Link since his model is unclothed. So far, I've done the default hair (doesn't come with Link), Hylian cloak, Classic Link cap, Zora helm, Desert Voe Headband, Snowquill Headdress, Stealth Mask, Climbing Bandanna, Radiant Mask, Soldier's Helm, Ancient Helm, Bokoblin Mask, Diamond Circlet, Ruby Circlet, Sapphire Circlet, Topaz earrings, Opal Earrings, Amber Earrings, Flamebreaker Helm, Well-Worn Trousers, Warm Doublet, Moblin Mask, Rubber Helm, Barbarian Helm, Sand Boots, Snow Boots, Gerudo Veil, Lizalfos Mask, Lynel Mask, Thunder Helm, Champrion Tunic, Dark Link Cap and Cap of Time.
I'm trying to find the textures used in BotW's particle effects such as fire, explosions, bomb trails. Anyone have any idea where they are located?
I absolutely can't wait for Riji and the other Gerudo models, hopefully in dae or/and smd format.

I just had a massive Homer Simpson moment. I am working through the armor listings for Breath of the Wild and was wondering why I was mostly only getting head wear and not many other items. I didn't notice the 3DS Max script had a drop down box for the different parts of the outfit. It doesn't effect anything I have already uploaded so I don't need to update the queue but I feel like a pillock for missing something so obvious. Back to work.
Something I've noticed is that I get two "layers" when the models imported
Is there any significance of this, or can it just be deleted?

Layer 2 is for the normal textures labelled nrm. Layer 5 is for ghost textures if the character appears as a ghost. Originally I just deleted them like you suggested but I noticed that some normal maps are different to the texture so didn't apply to the model correctly. I had to reupload 6 or 7 models after noticing my error.
How long does it normally take for a submitted model to be put up for download? I'm trying to get clock town to make a stage model import for sm4sh 3ds.
Sorry if this is kind of off topic.
How do you import models in blender? i found only the script for 3ds max

Pretty much that, yeah. Make sure you check the UV mapping on those "Layer" polygon groups, and you'll see what Trikeboy means by that. Most characters use a completely different, condensed set just for that purpose. Annoying, yes, but it's a necessary inclusion. The "Layer 5" (a.k.a. "All" in the game's data) isn't as necessary since there doesn't seem to be a texture that fits 'em, it's probably for shader effects.

We're doing our best to check through the submissions whenever we're able to. Sucks that models take significantly longer to check through compared to sprites, textures or even sounds.
I have a question. I'm working on the dragons from Breath of the Wild. The model for all three is under one file name and the different horns are separate models that can be toggled. My question is this. Would it be better to upload three different models, one for each dragon and delete the unused horns, or should I upload them as one file like it extracted. Personally, I would go the three separate model route but I'm not sure if that is acceptable.

If we are talking about BotW, load the model into 3DS Max and export the model as a FBX file. Import the FBX file into Blender. That's what I've been doing.
