For those of you who remember this from PT, yeah. I didn't make progress on this, but I plan on continuing it.
I tried to make my own style and all, too.
And before you comment, yeah. I used the SMW Pipes for shading references on my pipes. I plan on making the pipes' shading more original later.
:V
ALSO: I'm posting the Juicy Belmont sheet later, but just not at the moment, k?
Nice work.
I'm not sure of this, not being an avid Mario fan, but shouldn't there be corner pipe pieces too?
WAIT FFF I'M NOT LETTING THIS TOPIC DIE
although I have no new sprites
YET
but I DO have this:
I'll make another mockup with the jumping and the damage and the death animations soon :V
also the Pipes sometimes have those curves. Other times, they just have boxes to represent said curve. I'll implement them later.
I know it makes more sense for his head to tilt with the angle of his body, but even in 3D Mario games his head stays quite still whilst his body swings.
Mind if I use that palette?

Alright. I kinda figured that the head turning would look a little better on the running animation, though, but yeah. It would be a little more Mario-like if I keep his head still, right?
Although, Mario's head turns in his SMB3 animation. So would a static head look better on my animation than the turning head?

Sure. Go ahead :>
