I still have to import the skeleton and support multiple texture layers correctly, to have all of RTB's MaxScript features ;3c
There's some slack on this tool as I wrote an MK8 track editor for Blender first. It actually reuses this add-on to import models. As you can see, it's still a little buggy, but track objects can be nicely edited already:

I just paused writing on the BFRES part a little to focus the MK8 track info more, also cuz some ominous unknown guy also said he wanted to write a BFRES importer and exporter for all the games (of course) and I hate to do same work twice, especially since he doesn't share any progress or info about it.
I am interested to know if this tool works enough fine for bayonetta 2 and splatoon files

I stopped working on it after other people claiming to work on BFRES did not communicate progress at all, and I was not in the mood to do work twice.
Awwww, that sucks :'( Would have loved to see this become fully fleshed out. Good job with what you've done though; I'm sure many (including myself) are grateful for your work.
