y'know, i don't suppose you can hold off for as long as possible and y'know, take your time and wait for all the bugs in 2.0 to be smoothed out before upgrading, right?

Honestly for the time being (and this is probably more trouble than it's worth) I'd be down for a rep system if there was only some way to remove negative repping altogether (like comment it out of the template or something)
That way, it's always gonna be something positive :^)

I know it's like hard-coded into the forum but y'know what I mean

Honestly, I couldn't care if the Rep system is done away with, while I did enjoy it because it at least gave me some feedback on where I needed to improve my act and what not.

Besides, The rep system was taken advantage of quite often back in the day, even by my own hand at times when TSR Forums were only independent for it's first two years. Either way it will be sad to see it go since I feel like it's been kind of a nice feature.

If it makes you feel any better, the likelihood of seeing a finished 2.0 in 2016 is slim to none at the rate they've been going.

As for disabling negative rep, that can already be done but given that the system is basically on its last legs as it stands, I don't really see a reason to do it now.
