Hello, I'm new to sprite ripping and this is my first time ripping sprites, it would be great if the community here can help me through this.
As you know, I'm trying to rip sprites from the game Metal Slug 6. My main and only objective is the Sea Worm (this).
Some of you might wonder why I didn't choose the Arcade version. Well, so far, I haven't found any MAME that could run the game assets correctly, or even be able to run the game.
After reading some tutorials, I have got PCSX2 (ver 1.4.0) and uMod (V2.0 alpha r53) as my tools.
However, I can't set up uMod to work correctly with PCSX2.
I have tried all the methods below but none of them worked:
Everytime I boot the CDVD [Metal Slug 6 (Japan).iso] with PCSX2, the emulator crashes. While it doesn't crash without the global hook enabled, nothing appear in the textures save folder.
My PCSX2 settings for Video:
Should you need any further information, feel free to ask me on this thread.
Thank you.

Method 1
Using a global hook. 1. start uMod * add once the game to uMod * activate the hook through 1. start the game (e.g. double click on the desktop icon)
Method 2
Start the game through uMod. 1. start uMod 1. start the game through uMod 1. default 1) 1. if you want to parse command line options
Method 3
Let the game load our dll. 1. copy our d3d9.dll into the games directory. 1. start uMod 1. start the game (e.g. double click on the desktop icon)
