Really looking forward to it myself, I reckon the next Neptunia game that's coming to PC (SvS in January) will probably use the same encryption as the current one (that being the SK crossover).
Given a lot of people have already requested it in a lot of previous posts I believe RTB is already looking into it, just be patient, it'll come by soon enough.
Other than that I think it's my first post on the forums? I mostly lurk around but given I've used a lot of RTB's import scripts I'd like to take the opportunity to thank him for all his work.
That game uses Unity Engine, not any custom engine.
So, you'd probably extract them normally using AssetStudio (as long as they are
NOT encrypted or customized with weird data)
Eh... I had sent you a private message before, I dunno if you check those but in any case I'll post it here as well, it seems that the TID plugin doesn't work for any of the Re;Birth Neptunia titles, it works fine for VII but it results in garbled textures when trying on those.

I didn't get a chance to reply to that message yet, but I'll see what I can do about getting those working later.
When I import models from Smash Ultimate into 3ds Max, it doesn't import colorset5 or any other colorset and it doesn't import the vertex alpha. Is that normal?
(06-23-2022, 08:15 AM)Tosyk Wrote: [ -> ]hi RTB, I was wondering if you could help with these .bum files:
the games are:
- UPPERS (PSVita) [example]
- Senran Kagura: New Link (android) [example]
there's also scripts that I have for this format attached: 2 noesis scripts and a maxscript.
p.s.: here's relevant topics:

I'm actually also curious to get more information for this format, as the switch games Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life also use this ".Bum" format for the models in their games, it seems it might be a common model format for any developer under the Marvelous games banner?
Which include story of seasons, rune factory, no more heroes, these above games also etc
From what i can tell, these old noesis/maxscripts are for the version 1 of the bum format, but newer games are using a version 2 format
so, I don't have tons of knowledge on this, but its possible that these scripts only need some touchups to be compatible with the modern format?
and if we can get the modern .bum format, we could unlock a whole swatch of marvelous games maybe!
I'd be grateful if anyone wanted to take a look at these formats
Question about the Smash Ultimate 3ds Max Script, is it possible to add a feature to convert the colorset5 to vertex alpha?
can anyone explain to me how to import batman models with telltale all in all importer?
I see this window
whatever I choose there I get this error:
p.s.: 3ds max 2016, win11
Hi, thanks for the scripts! I'm having trouble getting sound effects from Hyrule Warriors (Wii U). I can get g1l files but they don't play (I'm using the latest version of the vgmstream plugin for foobar). I recorded a quick video to show my process:

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Just a quick post to mention that I've migrated my 3DS Max scripts over to GitHub now, so the links should be more permanent (and more easily updated):
https://github.com/RandomTBush/RTB-3DSMax-Scripts
I originally intended to have a bunch of updates to go alongside that, but I lost them a few months back due to a spontaneous hard drive failure (and have been demotivated because of which), so I'm just uploading the original scripts as-is for the time being until I can see if it's possible to salvage those.

hi RTB, thanks for the update. I also think your work will be more safe on github
can you answer my question tho?
Hi!! Thanks for this! For anyone who is interested, the textures of Noby Noby Boy can be extracted with the
Pokken Alt script, as it uses .NUT files found in USRDIR\PAC

I got issues running any of the scripts in 3ds 2021 as well, different errors on the other hand.
I'm starting to think Autodesk ended up changing something up with their application code, they all throw errors now.
