I've been working on this head for a few weeks and can't satisfy myself
help
I might've just been staring at it too long but I dunno. This character head is the reason I've posted nothing
(That and laziness)

Replying to this first because I enjoy it the most. The run cycle itself is clean and readable, so no gripes there. The face being static seems like an issue though. While it's fine if you don't want to make the head move towards the camera and back, the hair should probably animate a little bit to give the overall effect of movement. Study how other games with capless hero's handle their heads and see if you can come up with something similar! Great job so far though! I've included some examples below that illustrate the importance of hair.

Here's an actual update on the previous head

The body looks great! Again, pretty readable, especially considering it's such a small sprite. The different style of colour is a nice change from your last piece as well. My only real criticism is that the camera facing arm and hand look a bit off, or that it's throwing off the bodies shape. Perhaps positioning the arm closer to the camera will help this? Sorry I don't have more specific advice, perhaps later I can work on an edit.

ive been going between a bluer or oranger pallete

made some colour changes and fixed up the tiles entirely

I gave her a fighter outfit (bottom), she's not stupid enough to run around fighting with her belly out as a weak spot
