So, I don't know anything about ripping games. I just decided that I wanted to look at game models so I could study them to get a better understanding of how to model my own, you know, to see how the professionals do it. So I downloaded a model of Mario from Super Mario Galaxy from this site.
https://www.models-resource.com/wii/supe.../model/863. But I don't know what to do with it, so I made an account just now so I could ask. This might be a stupid question, but is there a way to get the zip file of the model into Autodesk Maya so I can study it? Or maybe there's some other way to view it. Any help would definitely be appreciated.

You unpack the .zip file. Then load the model in autodesk.
