Does anyone happen to know how to go about ripping sprites, backgrounds, etc. from an Android app game? I've googled this for a bit but nothing I find seems to work.

When plugging my phone into a computer and trying to find the app, it does not appear to be anywhere and if the file I found is it, it's empty.
I found the game's full file online (APK), then downloaded it and converted it into a PDF (I read that would work) but the vast majority of the files could only be opened in a program called "Color" (for Macs) and even that didn't seem to show anything.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to ripping from apps, but any help would be very appreciated =)
I think you should use an Android emulator for Windows/Mac and rip the graphics from there (by screenshots or any other ripping software out there).

Good Luck!
There's not an universal/absolute way to rip phone apps all the android an ios packages (apk, ipa) are just zip files, rename them from their original extension to zip, and unzip them, and explore the folders, some games have their resources unpacked and with the original extensions, some other games are made with unity and you need some special extractor, you could identify them easily because most of the games have .assets files, etc. Some games have unknown or encrypted formats. If you could give more info of the game that are you trying to rip could be a bit easier to help you.
