This breaks up the assets file in a way I can't see useable:
http://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1563
And then a private dumper tool exists:
http://www.galaxytrail.com/forum/index.p...l#msg11170
which was suppose to be part of a modding tool that was being made, but development got stopped because it got kinda ruined in the latest versions of FP.
Now that I know development stopped, I'm going to attempt a private contact for the dumper now.

it depends on the game
what do you want to rip?
This thread is SO NICE! =D
It just need ripping tutorial(s) for sprite, models and so on (from Wii U and Switch games)! =]
Since i see they being showed on VG Resource sites on all days, i just wondered: how do they do that on these specific consoles games? I wanna learn to do it myself, so, i don't wanna beg/ask for others doing all that for me.
Are there tutorials for that already? Because i took a look and find nothing about what i wrote here. Is it possible to make such tutorials, please?
Thanks!
Hmm You guys have an extensive collection of tutorials, heck I'm trying to use Tinke for Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven (mostly on the Concept art stage)
I hope there is a PSP and 3DS tutorial someday cause thats the stuff I want to rip from the most

For Psp, you can use glintercept, it can even work with every software that use opengl. I'll make a full tutorial for it in the next few days.
Does anyone know how to rip 3DS sprites?
Okay, here's my question. Are there any methods for ripping/extracting assets (e.g. sprites) from Nintendo Switch games/roms?

This thread has a few tools that work with some formats found in Switch titles. vgmstream converts some audio formats used in Switch games, including KTSS (in Fire Emblem Warriors & Hyrule Warriors) and nu3saudio (SSBU).
Sorry about not being able to present you with tutorials...
Not at all. I understand that the tech for this kinda project is still under development, so ANYTHING is helpful compared to what I had. Honestly, I'm just trying to grab some assets from the new Beyblade game "Beyblade Burst Battle Zero". That game has some icons I'm hoping to extract.
But thanks. I'll make the most out of the knowledge you provided.
anyone got any tutorials for ripping for dokkan japanese version
I'm not interested in ripping any sprites myself, but rather using sprites that've already been ripped that are available on this site. Still images only; no animation. Are there any tutorials on what programs to use? And how to go about separating the sprite from its background sheet? Currently, I'm interested in creating a collage of sprites for an arcade cabinet wrap. Any help would be appreciated.
