The arms dont look long enough. Other than that its cool.

The Back arm of the running animation looks really small compared to the other one...I'd say make it 2-3 pixel longer, and it will be fine

EDIT: Ooh, I'm liking those trees. Excellent job there.
Also, the detail lines on the main character's torso seems to contrast too much; it looks like some sort of tattoo instead of just indentation.

A little off topic but I have started messing around with music for the game.

This is the icy level music, it's what would be playing in the mockup.
I made the file a .ogg because .mp3 quality and filesize are shit and don't do the music justice, but it should play in VLC or Winamp just fine. Make sure you set the track to loop when you play it.

In all honesty, the electronic sound that repeats 8 A's then 8 B's most of the way through the song sounds like it's conflicting with the rest of the instruments; it sounds dissonant.
I like it overall, though.
