Wow has his design not aged well in the slightest, ye gods he is ugly
While watching I was like "why does this look like Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams" but apparently it's made by the same people which explains that
I mean I guess it could be neat but the visuals are not appealing at all

To be fair, it could become a decent enough game.
I "watched" this trailer with my face buried in my desk though.

Well, the graphics are at least a step up from Bubsy 3d but that's about it.
I really don't expect much from this nor am I deeply interested.

0:14 he looks pretty much like Larry Lovage from Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude.
But yeah, it looks bland and uninteresting, like your average smartphone game.

That's it, I'm gonna start training to be a hitman. And Accolade's at the top of my hit-list.

How did this publisher even come back?
And they are talking about bringing back other titles - what other titles?

I'll laugh if its this:
It took accolade ballz to release this wonder. (Not really)

I watched the trailer on the first post. ...Is this some kind of joke that we're not seeing straight, or is this an actual product that nobody even asked for?

I don't understand why people are being outrage or flabbergasted or whatever about the existence of this game. "Nobody asked for it," but why does that really matter? If they make it and it fails, what's it matter to us as consumers? This isn't the same kind of situation as Bomberman Zero where they took an existing franchise and changed it completely. This is a studio taking one of their existing properties and doing with it exactly what they've always done. So just... what's the harm, really? It shouldn't matter if anybody asked for it. If it's what they want to make, they can have at it.
I just don't see why people are so quick to put up this huge negativity wall.

There are tons of franchises people are waiting for to return, some for ages. Instead, a franchise notorious for being bad is brought back, because memes. That's why there's a dent in my desk in the shape of my face and why many others find this pill very hard to swallow.
Still, that doesn't mean the game's bad or had no right to exist (that honor goes to shit like Asset Flips and zero-effort shovelware), but I don't think this game is going to be more that just okay. It could be, but I have my doubts.

If it came back and looked awesome, I'd say go for it. But the Gina Sisters games were pretty damn average, and this looks more so.
With how great a lot of 'new' 2D titles are now there's no place for average...
