So, remember less than 48 hours ago when I submitted
Yue?
Here she is again, in her most recent rendition from Memories Off -Innocent Fille- for Dearest. Or at least, in WIP form; the character CG is in tile form for some bizarre reason, and parts of the tiles overlap with parts of the other, so I've got to form a grid first before fusing them together. But hey, I've done that a fair amount already with the Sonic games - which I will get back to. A change of pace is always nice.
So Yue ended up needing a couple of fixes and better examination of the tiles due to shading issues with having to copy-paste some on higher rows to fill in the gaps.
Here's Orihime-sensei from the same VN! In progress, but much further along due to simpler tile arrangements.
Just a text update; there's a few things I want to run through with y'all while I organise the Speed Slider backgrounds from Chaotix.
I'm not at liberty to explain my current circumstances, but know that they're not the best. I'm doing all I can to rectify it, but it's no quick process.
That being said.
Remember how just over two years ago, I spent a portion of time in Cyprus and posted from there? Thanks to a friend posting a job vacancy at their workplace, and my desire to return to the island nation, I may very well be going back there, all being well. Getting this job will come with its caveats, such as a decrease in time for ripping (imagine when I disappeared for weeks to deal with university but with more time). But if I want to truly pursue and work in this opportunity, then it's a sacrifice I have to make. I'm not intending to abandon the project in any way, but if I have to take time between submissions, then so be it.
I'll update in due time should I get the job or not.
And the other thing.
I have inserted an "Absence Clause" to the first post of this thread. The basic jist of it is this: if I am pre-occupied, incapacitated or otherwise compromised for a year to the hour (may change to day) from my last post either on TVGR or the Discord Server, then the project is open by default, but I will resume command on return (should that happen). This is basically to prepare for any eventuality, be it I'm in a position that I can't post and/or am busy with real life. Rules specific to my method of ripping are included in the clause.
Just going to be messing around with some VN submissions for a little while. I'll jump straight back onto Sonic stuff once I'm able to invest proper time in it.
After a long day battling the game and then finding a video walkthrough on Youtube to have access to the CG viewer, here is the first four completed sheets for
Infinity Cure., another of those obscure games on the NGPC.
Always cool to see more NGPC rips.

All being well, I can get a few more games covered!
In the meantime, I've initiated another branch of the project:
Really? Really! (DS Version). It's going to take a fair amount of time, because unlike Sonic Rush or Megaman ZX, the layers for the graphics don't work conventionally, so I've got to hard cut the characters out of the backgrounds. But, Kaede, Sakura, Primula and some backgrounds (Sakura blocks the first couple of backgrounds and the missing one on the bottom row fades in and out quickly during a scene transition in the early game, so I've got to go back and get it) are initiated at least.
One of probably very many sheets if the influx of characters at the point the plot really kicks off was any indication. Good thing the PC version has a English version to use as a guide.
Some characters from Ever17 for today. I have about five left to cover, they'll be done within the next day or two.
From my current work, I'd say I've got about 80% of the content from Memories Off Festa, though some of that 80% is still being compiled into sheet form. But here's what's now available!
Changing tracks again, to Sega Saturn and WonderSwan Visual Novel
KISS yori...
The Saturn version has the same issues I'm facing with
Really? Really! from last week, so I expect the timescale with it to be like with RR. Otherwise, just taking on bits and pieces to see how well I can go with ripping games.
Yay Visual Novels! Backgrounds from ToHeart2 today.
Current progress on Soleil from Crusader of Centy, as of last night. This game's going take some time, there's so much I've got to learn about it.
Current progress with the WonderSwan Color version of
With You ~Mitsumeteitai~. 6/12 hasn't appeared as a date card yet, and the jewel is missing from the Chapter 2 card due to forgetting to turn the layer for it back on.
So
ONE, which I've ripped from previously, was inspired in a way by Leaf/Aquaplus' 1997 VN
ToHeart.
And I've began working on that VN's Akari and Shiho.
