Theres more not off the tip of my tongue. But what it really comes down to is what exactly are you looking for out of a spriting community.

if we're talking about sprite rips, sprite database is a good one.

There is the Mystic Forest Zone, but it's no longer online and you need to use the Wayback Machine to access it.

I remember there being this site called NES-SNES-sprites or something like that, I actually submitted a sheet there even before I joined here.
It was of the crystals from the Famicom Star Wars game. I've heard that the founder of it is trying to get it back online but it's been quiet for a long time.
