If it's anything like the last time I saw something like this, the post is too long and/or has too many images. Try splitting it up.
Is anyone checking the reports people make when you click on the report button on a game's page?
I've made two reports now (like a month ago) and the problem hasn't been addressed. I can't remember one of the reports I made now, but the other one was concerning Fist of the North Star for the NES (
https://www.spriters-resource.com/nes/fi...northstar/).
The sprite sheet featured there is actually for Hokuto no Ken 1, Fist of the North Star is Hokuto no Ken 2. So the sprite sheet should be moved to the Hokuto no Ken's page.
I think the problem is that none of us are terribly familiar with that particular game. If you can provide a reference we can use to confirm your report, we can definitely get it taken care of. For reference, I only see one report from you though.
Edit: Actually, one of our staff went through and found what we needed. The game has been renamed to reflect where its only sheet came from.
I remember Kirby's Star Red Diamond (a bootleg) had a game entry on here. What happened to it?
It was deleted. It was a poor-quality port and didn't really fit our newer standards. Basically, we really aren't accepting bootlegs/hacks/etc. unless there is something extremely noteworthy about them.
Got nuked, it was basically just a bootleg emulator with Kirby's Adventure.
I see. Not sure why the sheets couldn't just be kept up instead of just refusing to accept new bootlegs similar to it, but eh.
The game icon was wrong and difficult to find a correct replacement for, there was only a single sheet, and the game itself wasn't particularly unique or noteworthy so there was really no reason to keep it. The assets themselves were not remarkably different than the source game.
