Very little issue here, the text when you change youre avatar "An avatar is a small identifying image shown ..."  is black on the dark ressource theme.

I've removed the latter as that had a white background and was missing the blood particle. This version doesn't have the eyes filled in but I assume that's more correct?

That's odd because I...don't?  Where do they even display?

I switched between like four themes, and they're still not showing up in any of them. Not even the default. :/

The ones I'm referring to are the ones that are altered from the Social Sites option in the User CP.

Could be related to your odd ability to see things like the default theme, which is hidden and shouldn't be selectable, if you're really not seeing them.

I can see the default theme, and I can still see the icons

You mean the actual "Default" theme, right? Not the VG Resource theme. I take it that means you can also see the Christmas theme. I'll need to put up a poll to see how widespread this problem is.

I thought it was released on the PSP, my mistake. Either way it wasn't only on PC.

Can someone confirm the correct system for the one that's currently incorrectly labeled PSP so I can move it? Thanks!
