With how ass Sonic Heroes was I wouldn't be surprised. I mean when did Sonic and Knuckles become bum buddies...?
And that "Come stop me 'Sonic Heroes' muhahaha" intro speech is basically all you need to judge that game.

I'm not against things being different. Luigi's Mansion in my eyes was a good game, Mario Sunshine however was not.
But as Sega keep saying that they're brining Sonic back to his roots why the hell does he turn into a werehog? Was that in Sonic 2?

And if you Gary (a non-gamer) can say that the bits looked un-interesting surely you are in a agreement with me when I say that the game would probably be better without these bits.

The only extra thing being added here is a huge pile of shit into Sonic's open mouth.
And same thing over and over isn't what I'm after but as far as I know there hasn't been a 2.5D sonic game yet. Sonic Rush was pretty much all 2D so that in itself isn't repetitive.

No, those bits were uninteresting because the whole game overall didn't interest me. I'm just not into platform games that much anymore, or games overall.

How about "2D in 3D"? Seriously, there is no half dimension. It's bullshit. Just call it 2/3D if it makes you feel better, but not 2.5D. It's just stupid. It's just a 2D game or a 3D game, but if it moves in two dimensions, it's just a 2D game.

2.5D has always been a 2D game with 3D elements to it. Adding Polygons to it doesn't really make it 2.5D as it's still 2D.
So I agree with you there gary.

But I didn't piss any CaptainN mods off I just got bored and deleted my own account one day, mostly because I felt the staff had let N-finity down after his passing.

And it's not like this is anything too serious, it's fun to argue about a game's direction.

Werehog could turn out okay if they don't take him too seriously in the story. If not, we'll get a story similar to Sonic '06, and nobody wants that. And if we turn out hating him, wwe can play through those levels and never play them again.

The Sonic gameplay seems great, but seriously, Sega, this isn't taking Sonic back to his roots, good game or not.

Sorry, I was just really looking forward to this, as a young'un me and my bro used to sit and play the old Sonic games, and I keep getting promised that one day that kind of Sonic game is coming back. I wouldn't be so mad if they didn't say this game was a return to the Sonic I knew.

That game is the closest to the old games.

Sonic Advance was ok, but I felt the second was better, minus the crap bosses. Or was it the first one with crap bosses... I forget.

The second one had bosses where you were constantly running.
