I don't think the background suits your girl: she's seen from a slight angle, but the ground is flat. The tree is dark, maybe too dark, very straight and with small roots. I don't think you should use Dex's picture as a reference for your tree (but I'm not saying his isn't good, just not in the right context). Be boring and try and look at as many trees as you can, closely.
The girl's dress is strange, highlights are supposed to go on the folds, her legs seem to meet up in one point underneath the skirt (rather than following her hips), arms bit too short. But I might be destroying your style by saying some of that :s
Anyway, carry on the good work!

I might scrap this one for a while. I'll try making backgrounds on a smaller scale bafore making those big ones. Thanks for the comments and criticisms

The purple-haired girl is one of my refs, and her name is Gamegirl Advance (lol pun). The green-haired one's name is Milenne (another custom character ). She had purple hair before (you can see her up there), but I noticed that Gamegirl also had purple hair. So, I changed it to green.

I also noticed that my characters' mugshots are smaller, I should remake them.

Awesome+Awesome=...?

Awesome+Awesome=SkullGirlz?. I pretty much like the sprites and love the style so I won't say much about it. The only thing I can say is that you need to make a portrait of the last girl you made. You should try something bigger like a big body portrait of of those girls in that same style.

Well, I needed to do some spriting stuff. I think I made my own style... Well, I like drawing big heads and simple stuff, so I guess it looks a bit like Cave Story.

Is it good? It's my first time using those awful colors.

Curly's head is a bit too far on the right (our), i'd say. His head looks a tad too tall.
