Is this project focused on only the games prior to Smash 64 that the classic roster characters are from? I would love to help out with this project!
Not necessarily, but that's what I was thinking! We'd love the help!
can i do a reservation thing i could totally rip all levels and all tilesets from SML2?
Absolutely! That sounds awesome!
I’d be in favor of that, good luck!
I mean... Mach Rider was
supposed to be in Smash Bros Melee but they couldn't figure out a full moveset for him so they left him as a trophy. Oh and they used the theme song from that as an alternate song for the Big Blue stage iirc.
Close enough. :p
Nice job!
Did some work on SML2 now, here's all tilesets (non-animated, unfortunately)
All the levels excluding Wario's Castle and Boss rooms have been added too now
You're the best. Thanks so much!
What are the chances SML 1 is that easy?
Well the game is indeed very small and relatively short so I guess it would be pretty easy, even with the ol' screenshot method but I don't have any tricks up my sleeve - SML2 is my forte, the first game not so much.
I mean, if you have to pick one, SML2 is clearly the better game.
So for whatever reason I ripped these. It's technically Donkey Kong-related (or not, it's an unofficial clone) but I thought I'd post it here incase it could be considered part of the project since I still got some of that Donkey Fever.
Hah! I've never even heard of that.

Yeah, the CHAMP games are pretty unknown gems- Champ Kong was the first and one of my favorites of the eight games that got released- it's pretty accurate gameplay wise to the original (aside form the springs in 75m being missing) and Champ mode is a nice twist on the original levels (the elevators in Champ 50m blew me away when I first saw them for some reason, heh). Plus, it's a bit of nostalgia for me because Champ Kong was the first time I ever experienced the original Donkey Kong arcade game in any shape or form.
Hey dudes technically this project ended on the 31st but whatever, here's something I wanted to do for ages not only because it seemed easy but also it's technically my first "real" Pokemon sheet.
