Touched up the Samara portrait, mainly on the hair. Also, some progress on Chucky:

Took a shot at making a portrait for Pinhead. Also, took Prime Op's Elvira sprite and some of the Mai sprites from this site and tried to give her a stance. Not sure if I will try to make a full character of her yet as there is a lot of detail involved. If I do it will be much much later. But the only thing I have to fix on her stance, that I noticed, was the front hip on a few of the sprites. Other than that, just have to add the sleeves and the tears on the dress. It might be a while before my next update, but I will post the sprite sheets for Eric and Michael soon. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

That's a pretty perfect base for Elvira. Hah!

Ha yeah, was thinking it might be cool to re-color Mai's sprite sheet one day and maybe add in a couple of moves from the Elvira Mistress of the Dark movie where she has the reflective ring and the creature that comes out of the pot and maybe the axe throw. We'll see. If I were to make her, her main attacks would be with the knife. Mai would be the base with maybe a little Psylocke thrown in there.

Well, started on Ash's portrait. After I finish this, I will be taking a break. Based it off of the picture in the middle. The picture on the right was what I was going to use to base the Chucky portrait off of (I dont take credit for those pictures btw). I'm happy with how Ash looks so far, just might need to re-size it some:

Alright had a chance to touch up the Ash portrait. I would say it is about 90% done, I just have to add another color to the hair, skin and shirt and maybe re-size a little. But I think it looks okay. I put all of the portraits together:

A touch up to the Ash portrait, I think this looks more like him...and I really do need a break now. I hope everyone has enjoyed the sprites. Will be back for Chucky later. Looking forward to seeing how Jason and Freddy turn out. Maybe I will do some touch ups here and there.

Alright one more touch up to Ash and Pinhead's portraits. This might be the last one. I might go back and add a little more shading, but might also just skip it since it might not be that noticable. For Pinhead, tried to fix the shading and add more details. For Ash, resized the head. Hope you like it, here's a before and after picture:

I think Ash definitely needs more work. He looks more like Jim Halpert got in a fistfight.

Took a shot at editing Ash too, I think it is an improvement. I will re-color Jason, Freddy, and hopefully Samara and put their portraits with the sprites in my next post:

This is far from perfect, but I think it's a nudge in the right direction. Feel free to edit it all you want.



Basically, I fixed the nose, brought the side of the face in a bit, shortened the hair (remember, he's wet and dirty here. It's not how he always looks), got rid of the individual teeth (this always looks bad), deleted the upper lip (and I'd suggest playing with the color of the other one), darkened the hair (highlights still need to be darkened too), and tried to make the jaw, his most prominent feature, a bit more noticable. Like I said, it's not perfect, but I think it's a step in the right direction.

Hmmm ok I think I see what you are trying to do. The reason I had the hair that color was because I was basing it off of the Ash character from Mugen. I used the same colors used in his sprite.

Made this for fun. I re-colored the portraits to use the same colors as the sprites. I re-colored Jason's mask too on the sprite so that it matched the colors in his picture. Only character I wasnt able to do that for was Samara because I dont have a sprite of her. The sprite she has in mugen is taller, the one in the picture is one that I found in an earlier post. I will re-color her portrait though if someone has a sprite of her:
