Hey all,

I was looking through Blade Strangers and found the files where it's sound effects are held. They are in wav format compressed in RARC files. Some might recognize this name from Nintendo consoles such as the GameCube and Wii, but this isn't exactly the same type of compression. 
I have uploaded a RARC from Blade Strangers and one from Animal Crossing (GameCube) as samples and to show the differences between the two.

It would be very helpful if anyone knew a way to decompress this archive.

Try using BrawlBox to decompress the RARC. (No promises that it will work though Tongue)

Sadly, no luck.  Sad
BrawlBox doesn't recognize the format.

Unless you have a specific plugin in mind, Foobar can't open this archive. 
Even then, it wouldn't make much sense for Foobar to be able to open a possibly unknown archive and play each wav file within it.
