The hair should cover more of the forehead, but overall this looks excellent.
Edit: Now that I look at the small sprites, the hair looks pillowed on the ones facing up, you should probably fix that.

It has far too many shades and they're coming from the center area of the hair. You can argue that it isn't
exactly pillow shading, but either way, it still looks like it, and that's bad.
I'm not saying the sprite entirely looks terrible, it's just that one part.

I see no pillow shading. Perhaps some AA, perhaps it darkens around the edges, but A- that's the style; and B- You can tell the light source isn't the inside of the sprite.

I realized the main problem was the bit of shading you had at the top, which should've been brighter. So I changed that and maybe some other minor things, I did it last night so I don't remember everything I did to it
My edit isn't perfect, but it should give you an idea of how to make it look better.
Yeah, I don't think it needs changing, either =P
I'm not saying you need to change it, but... Don't you want it to look as good as it can? :/
