I've been away for a while and thought I would dip my toes back in to the sprite pool by revisiting and fixing my SNES Super Punch Out customs. After comparing with the sheets on TSR I noticed (to my horror and shame) I made them all too small. So with renewed inspiration I have redrawn them the correct size with some changes. From left to right they are: Glass Joe, Kid Quick, Pizza Pasta, Great Tiger, Don Flamenco, Von Kaiser, Soda Popenski/Vodka Drunkenski, King Hippo, Piston Honda/Hondo, Iron Mike (Punch Out Flash), Mac (Punch Out Arcade player character), Mr. Dream, Mike Tyson, Rocky Balboa, Muhammad Ali, Little Mac (NES), and Little Mac (SNES). I have included the first attempt for comparison.
These are coming along really well. I like King Hippo a lot. I think Mac should be smaller though, because... Little Mac.
Nice to know the sheets I ripped have left an impact on the community.
These are really great. Nice job!

Indeed they have and I hope they continue to do so and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future!
Vive La France!!! It's a Glass Joe Super Punch Out preview![

Here is Glass Joe's full sheet. With this sheet the original 6 opponents from the original arcade game are now represented Super Punch Out SNES style!

Dang, you nailed it down well!
This is also the 2nd sheet of a character that's already on the site! Not surprised it's Glass Joe though.
Here is a preview of the next sheet in what has become a series for me, Vodka Drunkenski.
I have been having a lot of fun rendering these sheets. I didn't think I would do more than one or two of these and here I am on my fourth with the next one after this one already planned out. The full sheet will be posted as soon as I finish, working full time limits how often I can work on them. Anywho enough aimless babbling, enjoy the preview![

Hah! The victory pose is amazing.
Any plans to do a Captain N version of King Hippo alongside the normal version?

Thanks Ton, I may also include a Soda Popinski palette with the sheet. Down the line I think that may be added to the list. I am also toying with the idea of 2 versions of Great Tiger, one arcade influenced and the other NES influenced.
I love seeing more of these Punch Out characters (especially more obscure ones) being made into the Super Punch Out style, would it be possible to make a Balrog or Dudley from Street Fighter in SPO style? That would be really damn amazing.
