May you please rip all Aladdin characters (including Jasmine's Ralph 2 model)? I would rather have them with their bones since I'm putting them on MMD and I'm bad at rigging.

Sure. There are a couple of steps but it's all pretty straightforward:
- Install Disney Magic Kingdoms from the Microsoft Store
- Grant your account access to the directory where Windows apps are installed
- Navigate to the directory where the game files are stored (it'll be something like
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ABCDEFGH.DisneyMagicKingdoms_xxxxxxxx\Assets\data\DLC)
- Although the files don't have extensions, everything in that directory is a zip file. The files we're interested in are common_textures_pack as well as all of the model_*_pack files. Create a directory wherever you like and extract all of those files into it.
- Download Noesis and extract the program
- Download the plugin from the first post in this thread, extract the zip file, and move fmt_bdae_0,0,0,965.py into <directory where you extracted Noesis>/plugins/python
- Run Noesis, browse to the directory where you extracted the game files in step 4, and start checking out models. Many of them have sub-models that you need to cycle through with F2 to find the one you want. When you find a model/sub-model you like you can use File > Export from Preview in Noesis to convert it. At this point you should be ready to import the file into Blender, 3ds Max, or whatever other 3D package you plan on using.
Hey! Awesome tutorial!!! I was able to download all the files and I was also able to extract all the game files, however I have one recurring issue: All of the 3d files seem corrupted, since they all appear as either squares or other shapes but nos as the characters. Any ideas as to what may be causing that? Do any of you still have the 3d files?

Apologies for the late reply, but it sounds like you may just need to cycle through the sub-models by pressing F2. Most files contain more than one model and--especially for character models--it's common for the first one loaded to be something boring like a collider mesh.
Hi MisterCardholder. On 4 paragraph: it doesn't work textures issues errors
What am I doing wrong? Still, don't you plan to make all the textures? For example: Building.
(11-15-2020, 01:51 AM)Contra6 Wrote: [ -> ]Still I found out some model impossible receive For example: magic carpet in total 8 model. Tried it export is model 4/8 in FBX, nothing comes out. I get receive only 1 model.
P.S: model_character__bdae_1_pack aladdin>magic_carpet and model_character__bdae_0_pack coco>dante
Thanks for including screenshots! For the textures, that looks like what would happen if the pack files were extracted into separate folders. If you extract them all into the
same folder then everything should work.
For exporting, each sub-model is handled separately, so if you want to get multiple sub-models you'll need to do an export for each one, either using the
-modelindex # option in the Export dialog (or on the command line) or by using F2 to cycle to the one you want and then using Export from Preview.
Hope that helps!

Thanks you big for the advice. It works for model
To textures it still doesn't work for me... Ah yes, I forgot to write it was extracted for Android
Maybe you share your files? This will be a simple solution. Again thanks you.

After exporting the model, you should have ended up with a
dante_costume_basicout.fbx file (that contains the model) and also a
dante_diff.tga file (that contains the texture). By any chance did you happen to move the fbx file into a different folder without also moving the tga file? If so, that should be the issue and as long as you move them together everything should work.
Sorry, by very I'm too stupid.. to understand for textures. To you knew I don't have for win 10. I extracted only mobile (Android) It is stored in cache and all they SD without HD.
I can share the file, if need. I understand that you are trying to help, but it doesn't work.

No need to apologize and you're definitely not too stupid!
I see now that you mentioned it before, but I hadn't realized that you were extracting files from the Android version of the game. Unfortunately, this tool was only written for the Windows 10 version.
I just did some testing and I'm afraid that the the textures for the Android version are different (they claim to be tga files, but they're actually zip archives containing
ktx files). Sadly, it doesn't look like Noesis can handle this format. If you can find a way to convert them to something Noesis can read and then rename them to match the original tga files, I suspect it would work. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
Thanks for all the info on this, Im pretty sure im doing something wrong but I have followed your tutorial down to a T but everything I try and view just comes up with an error message saying "file could not be previewed. I have restarted the process from beginning to end a few times now but no luck. Any ideas?
Please ignore me - my stupidity got the better of me and I was just trying to open the raw pak files instead of extracting them first. All good and thanks again for your work on this

Happy to hear it and you are very welcome!
I just leave it here
Suddenly someone will need it. I only found out about it yesterday.
Disney Magic Kingdoms
MisterCardholder you don't plan make others? For example: Disney Getaway Blast It turns out they have the same format .BDAE
how do i actually apply the textures to the models
