Why upgrade IE when you can switch to firefox. No matter what version of IE you get, it will still suck; for example, IE 8 can't be uninstalled, and that alone is torture.

The person already said they would prefer to continue using IE, and I figure it's not my job to preach the benefits of Firefox to them if they're happy with what they have. I personally use Firefox on Ubuntu 90% of the time but just because it suits my tastes to use Firefox and Linux I'm not going to tell everyone they should too.
Well, I don't understand why anyone would pick IE over Firefox (though I've got to say, Opera is even better than Firefox) but I'll just leave it alone.
Dave, I am not installing Firefox. Get that through your thick skull. I have no reason other than tSR to install it. I'm pretty sure I've been quite clear about this: tSR is the ONLY problem site. I refuse to install ANYTHING if all I'm getting out of the deal is ONE site. In short, it is NOT Internet Explorer, so I will not replace it.
So, Raz, you say it might be Java? I'll look into that, since Java's been crappin' out on me lately. Thanks.
If it doesn't work out let me know and I'll try think what else it might be.
On what pages does IE crash for you? Post URLs, please.
It's been working fine for everyone else, though, and I can't think of anything that might make IE7 crash. tSR doesn't use Java, only a small amount of non-problematic Javascript. Try upgrading Flash? Could be the ads.
It's really across the board, but usually it starts happening while going to individual sprite sheets.
Have you tried updating Flash? Try disabling Javascript and see how it goes.
I really can't think of anything other than the ads.
I'd suspect that too, except from the fact that it only happens on individual sheets.
It works fine with Opera, though.
