hello, I want to rip models from trackmania forever, but there is a problem, the car modeles are in gbx, and I cant open them, is there a way to convert them somehow?
also this forum is really inactive so I probably won't get answer
Try to post some sample files.

Sorry, but you actually managed to view the GBX? What program?
Edit: Also I took the GBX from a modded car, I was too lazy to grab it from the actual games
On this
page you can find various programs related to the game.
You will need to download GbxDecompress to decompress the file.
In this other
topic, you can have more information about gbx, the published 3dmax script does not work with your example, so download
Noesis and place this script in the "python" folder (noesis \ plugins \ python).
This script was tested only with the file you posted, so there is no guarantee that it will work with all files.

It didn't work at first, but I replaced "ASCII" in the code with "UTF-8". But oh brother. For some reason the UVs don't fit at ALL! What is going on?
Hey, update here: Apparently exporting to fbx screwed up the UVs. I tried OBJ and they FIT!
Need help, it can't decode the byte 0xcc, causing it to fail.
the vehicle body is in the wrong place and upside down
also, the noesis script should be updated so it has fixes with the model bugs like missing objects (only up to 11 meshes)
you can fix it by changing the amount by just any number
