Woow I like the this game so much.

How about instead of cheats as unlocks we have some new characters like say Bab Bowser or Toad and Peach or maybe even Boo.
Here's a Pokey for the desert world, I included two types since I didn't know which one you would like better.

I was going to do that but it's ok.
I won't do anything right now maybe later if I have some time.
I love the style and love the music, so I made some power ups for the gameSmile

Will try out some enemies in the style,
On second second sheet I have
-Bone Fish
-Jellyfish

P.S. Andrio when will you have the Mario swimming sheet up and which luigi are you using?

Ahaha, I made my own two-frame animation of Mario and Luigi swimming cos' nobody helped any earlier, lol. Very Sad I'll try and fit these new ones in later, if I can.

Well, okay, I believe it's time for an updated demo, ahaha. This Demo includes the second level (which tbh, I'm not too happy with, the level design is a bit iffy.. Ouch!; I'll work on it.), the new achievement system and many many many little things that you may notice if you played the previous demo a number of times. Also, I'm aware there's a few glitches and bugs that may occur when under water, so tell me them if you come across any, cheers. Wink
A few things that I didn't update since the last demo is the Options, and Main Menu. The Main Menu still looks the same unfortunately. Very Sad It's terrible. Also, I shoved in placeholders for the death animation, haha.


DOWNLOAD HERE (Available for 7 days ONLY!)

Notable Additions:
- Second Level is Complete ("Sapphire Sea")
- New Dazzling Level Select System
- New Achievement System
- "Go Back" Command at all times in game, including Levels (Press Backspace)
- DOZENS of fixed glitches
- Rating System / Ranking System


Bleh, there's alot new, check it out for yourself. lol. Oh, and my advice is to play through the first level again (even though you've played it before..) just to check out what's new/fixed, because the second level seems like an entirely different form of gameplay in some ways.. Very Sad o.O
Just for the sheer hell of it, I'm not gonna tell you what the achievements are yet, for my entertainment, and I guess for your own, lol, so try and gather them all'. ahaha. You probably won't, some kinda require you to know what to do.. 8D You can see what achievements there are in the "Data" Menu, just scroll left and right (the monochrome pictures may help you..)
From what I can tell, the glitch is still there where if you push yourself into a wall, you can't push back the other direction.

Also, the sound is very loud for me-- even with my volume knob turned all the way down (it's kinda glitchy, so it doesn't just turn off the volume), it's still filling the room with sound. Would it be too much to ask for a toggle button for the sound?
I do have volume control buttons, but just not included in this demo. Very Sad I think I'll update this demo tomorrow actually, because I forgot the option to toggle variable jumping. -- and also, the sound hasn't been adjusted whatsoever since the first demo, so it's presumably something do to with your sound control. o_OSweatdrop but yeah, I'll wait and see what others say about the matter, and if it's the same for everybody; what the feck!? x_X

EDIT: Also, try going to your Master Volume and adjusting the Wave and SW Synth Sound, I'm guessing that's got messed up?? Very Sad

Actually, the sound was very loud in the first demo, as well, I just figured you'd have a sound toggle function by this time xD
I found some weird errors
-when I jumped next to a certain block I could just stand there
-when I tried to dodge a bullet bill I touch the side of the lands edge and I ended up on the top and the view was on the seafloor

things that could be added?
-workable pipes in world one
-having Bullet Bills come out of cannons maybe
-Please put the music Tropiko in world 2 somehow
-Work out water physics abit
Great job on achievements, only got three, great job on the new menu selections and stuff. Wonderful update, it blew me away. It feels very mario like and the collisions seem much betterSmile

I was not a fan of that music, myself. :\
There wasn't any rhyme or reason to it, the melody was hidden in the rest of the fluff of the track, and what melody you could hear just played random notes.

I just got stuck in the same way. Jumping over and over again, rapidly, seemed to solve the problem; Mario eventually fell out of the block.

The big bullet bills kill you from too far away, it seems. I un-crouched after one had flown by and still got killed by it.
