That demo is a piece of AssShitCrap.

1) You didn't import the sprites properly.
2) He never stops running.
3) The blocks aren't solid
4) Up is not a jump key
5) He always faces left
6) Bad FPS
7) If you walk off screen your gone forever

I could whip up a better demo in GameMaker in five minutes.

I really want to see this game takeoff.

I know it's bad as hell it's that I have to do a lot of things.
I didn't have much time to make it.
You know what sorry but I can't help you out I'm really full with tons of projects.
I'll try and fix it up but I can't assure you anything.

Hey I'm the only person that actually posted a demo so stop all that bad comments.
Please I'll fix it up to show you I'm an awesome Flash coder.

I started working on a test for it, but no guarentees. It's certainly better than mabelma's already.

The others PM'd me their demo. And yeh, sorry, it wasn't that good.
Ok guys, i'm happily switching to GameMaker. I liked the engine alot. So KirbyFan's gonna do it.
I'll give Malbelma a chance in the meantime if he happens to fix it up.
And anyone else who wants to help with the coding part of it (GameMaker wise), sweet.
I also found a good chiptune music artist. His cute, happy style of 8bit goes well with my cute Mario. So it's all good.

So yeh, i'll give Kirbyfan more sprites (so blocks and stuff can actually work properly) sometime soon.

Uh-oh. Well, I'll try put my fullest into it, but I'm kind of slow, and somewhat new, and I don't even have pro version yet. So it might be good to have a back-up plan.

EDIT: I told you I'm not good at this. I can't even upload it. How do you do it?

Heyy, I make lots of games quite frequently - that's the main reason why I joined this site, and I'd love to make a game out of this! I love the art style!!
I don't use Flash though...

Though, before I start doing anything - I've got a couple of other projects in progress at the moment, so I won't quite be able to start right away.. but if nobody else's comes to the professional standard that you want (lol), I'd be happy to start right away. Also, I once made a successful Mario fan-game once before, back when I was even noobier. lol.

P.S. I don't use Flash nor GameMaker, I use TGF2, much more superb. loool.

I say that me and Chaos make a short little level with:

Level:
-1-1
-No underground
Enemies:
-Goomba
Items:
-Super Mushroom
-Fire Flower

So, shall we try this? I still don't even know if I can do a whole game, but a little level, I bet I can do.

My Problems:
-Game Maker has some bugs
-I use the Lite Version
-I still don't know what file to upload
-I'm not sure I can compete with somebody who frequently makes games.......

Yeah, sure, I'll make the engine for it, and a small level, but I won't go to the extent of designing the whole first level just yet.
I'll try and get it done by tommorow, or Tuesday.
