Okay, well, I've rushed a bit of it - and it's all I intend to do for a little while now.
If it gets positive feedback, and KirbyFan dosn't thrash me completely, then I'll happily continue the project at a later date.

Well that owns mine, except that fireball bounces are weird. I can't figure out how to exit out of it either. And where'd you get all of those sprites?

I love it! I really wanna start. I really really wanna.

Hahaha!! Cheers guys!!
I'm glad you like it - and yeah, the fireball was a bit rushed up at the end there, but it shows you the general idea of it. xP
I'd love to work on this project, but for the upcoming weeks, I'm a busy man, lol, so I won't get started on it any time soon... sorry.
However, if KirbyFan is still attempting to make an engine, then maybe his'll surpass mine.

I just used all of the stuff that Andrio provided for us - that being the World 1 image here, and the small sprite sheet of Mario here.
EDIT: Oh, and I made the Fire Flower and Fireball myself, just to show how it's meant to work.

I'll be willing to start mid next-week, I guess - but it'll be easier if you roughly sketch / design the levels than create them with sprites, it'll make it easier for me to implement into the actual game. - but obviously you'll need to provide the sprites for the levels in a separate sheet too.

I move it one pixel to the left, he looks really weird.
It's good how it is.

This project looks amazing. Best of wishes and lots of luck to this. Don't let it be ruined by a shit programmer.
I'm a Flash programmer myself, and although I'd love to help, building a full engine would be probably way too much for a mere intermediate like myself.
