I would like to know how to rip models from Splatoon 2, no ammount of googling seems to provide me with the information I need. I have no idea where to start and I just need the maps

What you need would be an nsp or xci of the game(can be found easily), then follow this guide https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-36986.html
Now, either follow that guide fully or import models in 3dsmax using this (once extracted) https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-29836.html under the section bfres importer, look around basically in these topics, try, and if you have troubles u can always ask for more help in this topic

There's also several tools that can also extract BFRES files, Switch Toolbox being one of them
