Hello,
this Sprite wasn't done by me but by my brother with the username Hiro-sofT
.
It's his first try to draw Tick the strange spike enemy from KDL3 in KSSU style.
We would like to hear comments from you what is good on the sprite and which things we have to improve on it
.
(This sprites are made from scratch by my brother).
I also believe that Tick has a different face in Canvas Curse.

The shading isn't in style.
You are just saying that the shading isn't in style. Thats nothing which helps me to improve the sprite. So can you give me an example how the shading on this Sprite could look?
Thank you for your help.
Um, you can take me off the list for now, for a little while I might go improving my sprite making skills by making some cool waddle dee things, until later TSP!

And yeah, OK pretty much covered what I was going to say about the wapod.
Oh, okay. I thought they were the same person and that adeline was cahnged around in the 64 version.
I'll fix that
oh, and one more thing,
Drshnaps, can I do Pon And Con? I already have a starting sprite right here
Well, I am a VERY beginner spriter... in fact, this is my first custom sprite I've ever submitted. (Probably around the 3rd I've ever made)
So, yep, Sword Matter (at least, that is Sword Matter, right?)
I'm open to any constructive comments you pros may have! Be nice, though! I'm just starting!
So, yeah, I just REALLY wanted to contribute. I dunno if I could fully make Sword Matter into a sprite sheet, but I'll try! But also, any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
And... yeah, I know he doesn't have a sword yet, but... no body, no sword!
---EDIT I---
Heh, 3rd post...
---EDIT II---
Ok, so I looked at my sprite again, and... it needed some fixing. Here's the new one:
And, I just realized that maybe you guys wanted to stay within the palette limitations... Well, um... that sprite uses upwards of 30 or so colors.
I could slim it down to around 20-25 maybe, but I don't think I can keep within the 16 color limitation.
Sorry!
Because... Around 4 colors for each variant of color. Four for the dark blue, 2 extra for the light blue. Four for the red and two for the highlights, four for the yellow, four for the dark hair, and 3 for the light mask... which makes around 23, plus or minus a few I might've missed.
I just colored it so it would look good, not to be conservative.
No, no, no...
what I wanna know is.
How... you couldn't take a sprite... already portrayed in only FOUR colors... and quadruple that into sixteen colors. It's baffling.
The point is that you should make the sprites from scratch.
@ Geo the Fox:
I did, but it looked weird! And I needed extra colors for the highlights and stuff! Also, the transparency and black count a couple extra colors.
...But, since you keep nagging me about it, I'll try again! T_T
@ A.J. Nitro:
And, I basically did, it's just that I needed some kinda template to work from... I just updated the sprite... which is all we had to do, right? Just make it look like KSSU? I thought I did an ok job!
It should probably be pointed out that the coloring is wrong, although I admit that is completely my fault. When I colored him on that sheet that you're referencing off of, I was assuming that he was colored somewhat like Meta Knight. But he actually looks like this:
Here's an old sheet of mine you can also use as reference:
(I saw some really kickass Sword Matter sprites in a youtube video the other day, but I have no idea who made them.)
Whenever you're not sure about how an enemy is supposed to look, it's a good idea to try and find the official art for them here:

As far as whether or not Ado and Adeline are the same person, I'm not really sure. There's a lot of discrepancy there between Kirby fans. For the sake of argument, it's easier to assume that they are two different people; but even if they're not, I would assume that the more recent version would be the one used in KSSU.
Speaking of which, here's some really good official art shots of her:

Still no comments?
