i cant find any custom sprites on the new TsR one bit is it in its own page thingy or what i need help!

We've got bind set up to cache all the traffic through the main IP to nginx and then an IP to send people to the forums without it screwing up and giving everyone the same IP (Therefore fucking up the cookies) You say "why fix something that isn't broken" tSR was a combination of a year and a half of code changes being applied on top of eachother... The system NEEDED to be redesigned, if it wasn't the site would just get worse and worse performance.

Your comments are appreciated but I don't think anyone realizes what we did was what needed to be done, and if we didn't do it we'd be misusing the resources we have available which is stupid. The simple fact is that now we've freed up a lot of system resources tSR is going to be able to expand, and not just with more sprites and a bigger member base, it opens us up to the possibility of designing new features, hell whole new sections of the site.

I love the new site. The only thing I would want are better looking menu's.

I agree with Frostbite, I can live with the organisation style, I mean god sake people just want to moan about anything. But the actual look of the website is poor, from a designers point of view it just looks too... glossy. I mean the old design had a crisper look.
And although I am sure Dazz is pretty sick of people wanting the design changed, this is really just more cosmetic than asking for table to be changed, but I do feel that something needs to be done to stop the moaning besides the your not getting your way so stop moaning.

First of all, if you're gonna complain, have good grammar, something can't be "worst", it can be THE "worst", but the one you're thinking of is "worse".
Second of all, he's not gonna change it back because like 5 people want it back, and he's not gonna give an option for using either or, because then what's the point in making a whole new site? No one would give the new one a chance and just stick to the old one and it would've been a waste of time.
If you want it YOUR way, then make the site yourself since you talk like it's easy.

I'm willing to change the design to be crispier, however at the same time, I would like it to have a bit of web 2.0 thrown in, as the design needs to still be open to new people.

Well, why not try out the session suggestion. AS long as there was room in the database to additional tag the sheets with franchise tags, it shouldn't be too hard. If your separating your code with includes, it would make it easier as well. It's up you guys to make it a session variable for logged in users only, or just create about button an additional button along with the text/icon display buttons. I understand the work the you put into web site, as you said about. That's not what I'm complaining about, I just don't like the way of navigating thru the sprites.

I see no reason why that couldn't be done, if you have done all this work, than adding that would easy as pancakes. Well hey, what ever than. I'll you guys alone. No need to keep two stubborn people debating.

... What? Saying that it'd be easy is bollocks. It won't be easy, it would in fact be much harder than adding all the sheets again. We would have to go through each sheet and manually add tags and crap to them.
It'd also be a bitch to code that, and it'd make a million different display buttons, and would require a lot of our time to go through it, during which time, we could be actually ADDING SPRITE SHEETS. THE SHIT THAT THE SITE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE. You seem to want us to spend more time making the site then you do want us to be adding sheets, or hell, ripping them. I've not done any spriting in months now.
