So, I've ripped a lot of models using Noesis to export them as .objs and .daes, which include their animations. A lot of my submissions give the warning "Contains at least one .obj and .mtl count is less than .obj count". I'm not familiar with ripping models, so I'm wondering what a .mtl is.
An MTL file is a material file that goes along with an OBJ file.
Try using Blender, instead of Noesis, to convert the DAE file into an OBJ file.
The original files are .GMO, and Blender can't open them. And I don't know how to export models from Blender and could not even if I did, my computer can't handle it.
As to materials, I include the texture files in .png format. Do they need to be .mtl?
you need either dae or obj, just stick with dae, it's superior in every way anyways
