Personally, I would also recommend these, since they're either well-known or have a unique style:

At this point, I'm just going through the list and google any game with an interesting name on Youtube. Then I watch a longplay and decide if I like the genre, if a quick rip is possible and if there's any other content that I really want to see on the site (and usually requires more effort).

I easily forget genres for games I googled, this list makes it easier. Note that it is not 100% accurate, it's just a personal sorting to have everything in recognizable groups. Already ripped games are not listed, also no sports or strategy.
