I've been trying to rip the NASCAR Heat 5 Cup Series car models since yesterday. The game runs on Unity so it was fairly easy to get good rips of the car models.
However, they all seem to have the same issue with the UVs. Some parts of the UV aren't inside the texture range, at least this is how Blender shows them.
Here's an example:
The UVs in the red circle are meant to be where the green circle is. For all I know, this could just be Blender making the UVs less cluttered (the textures look fine on the model) but I just wanted to make sure. The model used in the example is the Camaro, but the same thing happens on the other 2 car models.
There's also these weird UVs on the Camry model.
They belong to the back of the car on the Toyota badge, however it doesn't appear to look right
What should I do about it?
Edit: If I don't get any response, then I just won't upload the models. Issue is, I've already submitted the game to be listed, and I don't think there's any way to cancel it.
