After constant moving I decided to stop making new friends in real life.

Besides, people became really rude and annoying these days that I decided to keep quiet about my hobbies in order to not being a subject of mockery and loussy gossip.

Besides, wasting time having arguments with rude people may lead to even a knife in the back or being shot.

I don't even dare to discuss politics in my country, specially now that Bolsonaro is still the president.

His followers are even throwing homemade bombs with feces against those who criticize him that is better to keep a low profile.
at first i was like "that's sad"
but then i saw the Brazil reference

yeah idk man, sorry about your country
I kinda did stop making friends in real life, ever since I decided to not attend this summer session of social skill classes due to the stress of working at Firehouse Subs 1st, relax, go to social skills, and then go to Papa John's and work.

Wow that is ridiculous, I hope you're staying safe out there Shocked

Well relating to the thread it's hard to really make friends in Highschool when you're that one kid who barely talks and you carry around Skylander figures with you. Hopefully when I move away from here I can meet new friends. And maybe I can meet people who don't ridicule me. Sad

At least college is coming up for me soon. I feel really lonely, I have trouble making friends on my own since I don't like to talk to people that I don't know. Maybe someday someone will talk to me first and we can be friends.
I did. But a lot of it is due to how much of a terrible person I used to be.

In the last few years I've been given a dose of humility, which I mistook for bad luck, and it really helped put things in perspective. I used to push people away with bad habits.

Now I'm trying hard to improve. Maybe new friends will come.
The older you get, the less friends you need.
Yes, since high school, most of the newer people started to become more and more dick and “hey I want to be cool”
I've kind of had the opinion that "real life" friends and "online" friends don't really need to be separated into separate categories. At least, that's how it should be, but frankly with how the internet and society in general is nowadays I can only shake my head in complete disappointment.
I have. Most of my absolute BEST friends are online. I only have 3 IRL and I don't need more.

I even want to meet my SO online. I can't do it locally.
