So, with a lot of help from a Discord server, I got this old script to import NMBM models into Noesis. The problem, as I found out yesterday, is that the majority of models with rigging (only three and a half exceptions) have an issue with the vertex weights for the root bone, particularly geometry immediately surrounding the bone. Being less than a baby when it comes to coding, I have no idea how to fix the script, and the person that made it originally is on a break from the net.
Attached is a sample model and the broken script I was using up to this point, any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Several hours later, I appear to have found a solution in Blender? Grouping the ungrouped vertices to Root_M appears to fix the issue, but I would still really like a Noesis solution.
