There are metric ton of games and honestly, it is very controversial because many on the list are considered some of the best games of all time and in some cases almost entire series. It's more of the case of "not for me" rather than terrible so it's not a negative outlook in a majority of cases and mostly can see why people love them but there are a few where I go into detail and complain. So I'll start with a safe one...
Grand Theft Auto IV - For a game that got very high scores, it doesn't feel fun to play. The car handling didn't suit the game, walking around felt laggy. The social aspect of the phone gets very annoying especially when you just want to do missions (even if you refuse, it affects your reputation) and Liberty City in this case doesn't have the charm of GTA 3/Liberty City Stories. I don't want to play a game that resembles where I live, dull, grey and miserable... Niko was one of the few things that I did like about GTA IV though.
13 Sentinels/Dragon's Crown/Odin Sphere - Basically Vanillaware games. They do look lovely though.
Alien Isolation
Assetto Corsa series - Weird handling that felt too stiff one minute and spin on a dime the next but do appreciate the graphics.
Atelier series - Really did try with most of the PS3/PS4/early-mid Switch entries...
Animal Crossing series - Gave both the Wii and the 3DS [not Happy Home Designer] entries a try, not for me.
Bayonetta 1 & 2 (didn't play 3) - Come to think of it, not really keen on Platinum Games output... Vanquish was okay though.
BioShock series
Beyond Good and Evil
BlazBlue series - Really did try...
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Blue Dragon
Blur
Borderlands series
Bravely Default series
Bully
Castlevania series - From what I've played of Harmony of Despair, Lords of Shadow series (even the Metroidvania one), the two N64 games and Dracula X Chronicles. Playing the C64 version of the NES game with its busted controls or a bit of Bloodlines for sprite ripping years ago doesn't count.
Catherine
Chrono Trigger - Something must be wrong with me...
Control
Counter-Strike
Crysis series
Darksiders series
Dark Souls series (more so 1 and 3, I know 2 has a mixed reception) - If you know my gameplay skills then it is no surprise. No ability to "git gud". I can see why people like them especially the atmosphere and enemy designs. I don't know why but it felt clunky to me even if feeling clunky does make sense considering that you're like a knight in armour.
Dangaronpa series
DDR series - or any dancing/rhythm based game. Only played the Wii entries.
Dead Rising series (at least 1, 2 and Off the Record in terms of reception, 4 is mixed)
Dead Space series
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Devil May Cry series - I do like the characters though...
Diablo III
Disgaea series (or more accurately most of NIS output) - I like the humour and the writing, I usually like the characters and the graphics but the gameplay...
Dishonored
Dragon Age: Origins - Gave two different playthroughs on two different consoles and still didn't like the game.
Dragon Ball series
Dragon Quest series - From what I've played, sorry Japan...
DriveClub
Elden Ring
ESPN NFL 2K5 - Really did try...
Fable series
Far Cry series - Did enjoy Blood Dragon and a bit of 6 but the rest, nope.
FEAR series
FIFA / EAFC series - Do appreciate the Mega Drive games, 98 and 2000 from a history perspective but the rest... nope.
Fight Night series
Fire Emblem series
Final Fantasy series - Again not for me and gave a good shot of the series a try... 6, X, X-2, XII, the Lightning trilogy, XV, World of Final Fantasy, 7 Remake, Crisis Core, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call
Flatout 1, 2 & Ultimate Carnage - Just don't like the handling that Bugbear puts in their games.
Freedom Fighters
Geometry Wars
Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost Recon series
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
God of War series
GTA San Andreas
Guacamelee 1 & 2
Guilty Gear series
Half Life 2
Horizon series
Hitman series - Not even the infamous Blood Money I liked...
Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis - One of three point and click games that I played, don't like the genre but do appreciate the game.
inFamous series
Journey
Juiced series
Just Dance series - or any dancing/rhythm based game
Just Cause 2
Kameo: Elements of Power
Katamari series
Kid Icarus Uprising - To be fair though, this is one of those games whether you can play or can't just by the controls of the 3DS.
Killzone series
Kingdom Hearts series
Kirby series - At least from what I've played on Return of Dreamland, Epic Yarn (literally couldn't get far), Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Planet Robobot, Triple Deluxe and the one on the Wii U. I think it's Rainbow Paintbrush but it's known as something else (also literally couldn't get far). Whoever said that the series is easy just gave one look at the character design or were hardcore platformers. Had issues with depth perception, frame rate issues (Robobot), rotate and mash the buttons in one of them, and the shmup boss. Again can see people like the series due to the characters and graphic style.
The Last of Us series
LA Noire
Legend of Zelda series - Really tried with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword but didn't enjoy them. Trying to remember from memory, it's down to the combat, puzzles and level design. It's also tricky for me... I think Link moving slowly doesn't help either. From what I played of the original and A Link to the Past was the same. Closest that I did enjoy were the Hyrule Warriors games. Due to the experience, didn't even go anywhere near Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. The weapon breakage mechanic would have really annoyed me.
Lemmings
LittleBigPlanet series - Mainly down to the jumping physics.
Live a Live
Lost Odyssey
Luigi's Mansion 2
Madden series - Probably on the grounds on not being American. Again appreciate the Genesis games from a historic perspective.
Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
Mass Effect series
Max Payne 3
Mega Man series
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
Metal Gear series - Sort of... Just the original MSX game and Solid that I did enjoy. Even then with Solid, wouldn't be able to play it now. 2 (except the soundtrack), Solid 2, 3, 4, 5, Peace Walker, Acid 1 & 2, and Portable Ops didn't like...
Metal Slug 3 - This one doesn't click for me and was relieved when the game was finally over. I enjoy Metal Slug 2/X, I even enjoyed Metal Slug 4 and 6 but not the series peak...
Metroid series - The series just didn't click... Tried the Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Metroid. I can see why people love them. Something must be wrong with me if I didn't like Super Metroid...
Minecraft - Yep.
Monkey Island series - The first two in the series are two of three point and click games that I played, don't like the genre but do appreciate the significance.
Monster Hunter series
Motorstorm series
MX vs ATV series
Myst
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series
NBA 2K series - This was before people complained about the microtransactions.
Need for Speed Nitro
Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2
Ni no Kuni series
NieR (both young and old versions) and NieR Automata
Ninja Gaiden series - Both classic and modern... Only the Master System game that I did kind of enjoy.
Oblivion (or Bethesda games in general) - Just didn't enjoy the game and the camera made me sick. Whether it was fate or something but it was a sign that I literally couldn't play Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim because it ended up crashing on the menu screen. From what I played of Fallout 3 didn't like either.
Octopath Traveller
Okami
Ori
Pac-Man World
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Persona 5 Royal (also what I've played of the SMT/Persona games, anything from Nocturne to SMT V to Soul Hackers 2 and Persona Q)
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - A bad experience of the first game. If there is anything upsetting, it will be gone not matter what...
Pokémon series
Picross series - Not even with Mario can make me like the game...
Pikmin series
Prince of Persia series - With THE exception of Sands of Time. I have yet to play 2 though.
Puyo Puyo series
Rainbow Six series
Rayman - The only game that I fell asleep playing... Do appreciate the graphics though.
Rick Dangerous series
Romance of the Three Kingdoms series - Only played 13 and 14 but strategy games are "not for me".
Resident Evil series - Apart from the original RE 4 that I did enjoy and found the Revelations games to be okay.
Rhythm Paradise series
Samba de Amigo
Secret of Mana - I really did try...
Sega Rally Revo - I really do like Sega Rally 1 & 2 but not Revo (or just called Sega Rally where I'm from), the PSP version dislike even more so since it's by Bugbear...
Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War
Shantae: Half Genie Hero
Shenmue series (1 & 2, I know 3 is mixed among the fans) - Lovely to look at and the detail is high considered when the first two were made but the gameplay loop is dull. Found more enjoyment going to the arcade than to play the actual game.
Silent Hill 2 - Not played 3, a tiny amount of 4 and only played a bit of the mixed Homecoming. Judging by what I played of, the entire series isn't for me.
The Sims series - Not for me...
Skate series - Not even Skate 3...
Skylanders series
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Even when I was a Sonic fan [now completely different], didn't really like this one despite being the series peak in terms of classic Sonic. I wasn't keen on the maze like level design, the grainer graphics, the special stages and felt more complex compared to Sonic 1 & 2.
Sonic Mania - I can see why in terms of Sonic games why this is good and can list some (graphics, music, bringing back forgotten characters, the strengths of the series, a fans love letter as in that it's like a commercial fan game) but it also made me realise something. It was the final chance that I had of the series after disappointment after disappointment... What was the issue with Sonic Mania? The object placement meant that I struggled throughout Chemical Plant Zone and the camera was making me sick. Always struggled with Sonic games somewhat but not by the second level (unless it was the Sonic & Knuckles part of Sonic 3). I think the inclusion of gimmicks such as a Puyo Puyo err... Mean Bean Machine battle doesn't fit a platforming game. Also when one of the best games in the series is a reimagining of the classic games says a lot about its quality (basically 2D Generations, only with a few new levels and plays like the classics) when the majority of series is average at best, always with an issue.
Space Invaders - It's strange, I find the game boring but do really appreciate the significance though.
Spider-Man 2 (the Treyarch one, not to be confused with the PS1 game or the PS5 game)
Splinter Cell series - Again one that I can understand why people like the series but "not for me". It was actually the series that gave me the thought that I don't like stealth games. The only one that I did complete was Conviction that happens to be the one that the fans didn't like.
Story of Seasons series - Gave it a try...
Super Monkey Ball series
Super Paper Mario
Super Smash Bros. Wii U - It might be well designed, it might have a lot of characters and stages from well known series, the menus are eye-catching and the level of polish in a Wii U game put it at the top but one that I found dull to play especially after 20 minutes. Best way to describe it is like eating something. It starts off being delicious but then gets very sickly. It really does seem more of a multiplayer game than single player where you can play for longer. The experience was why I didn't play Ultimate. Would have also said that I didn't enjoy Brawl either but that's a bit more mixed in terms of its reception.
Tales of series - Outside of some of the characters.
Tomb Raider series - Both classic formula and the more modern games.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series - I tried 3, 4, THUG 1 & 2 and the remake of 1 & 2...
Trials of Mana - I really did try... Both the OG and the 3D remake.
Tropico series
Uncharted series - I did try to get into the series and even completed the first (one point I did put it as a fav until I revisited the game a couple of years ago). It's one that you would think that I would enjoy but for some reason, I can't put my finger on it. I do like the settings, the characters (especially Sully) and the idea but I don't know...
Wii Sports - It counts.
WipEout HD Fury/2048/Omega Collection - Grouped them together because it is an evolution of the same game.
The Witcher series - From what I've played of 2 and 3.
Wolfenstein: The New Order/The New Colossus
Worms series - Strategy is not for me...
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Yokai Watch
Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair
Yoshi's Woolly World
Ys series
I did say that there was a metric ton...
