Hello,
first thing I wanna say is to please bear with me since I have basically no experience with sprite ripping, but since it seems nobody has ripped this game I wanted to try my hand at it
The game I want to rip is Hakuouki Sweet School Life
My first step as someone with no idea of what they're doing was to check the few files I could see and then search tools to extract those files. Under a "data" folder, I could see some cpk files, which I hd no trouble finding tools for, but none of them seemed to work. After using quickbms, the error provided was:
"signature of 4 bytes at offset 0x00000000 doesn't match the one
expected by the script:
this one: "w£ªù"
77 9c a6 97 w...
expeceted: "CPK "
43 50 4b 20 CPK"
Clearly something isn't working so I'd appreciate some help and guidance from people who actually know what they're doing. In any case, I realize that my way of going at this may be completely incorrect from the start.
